This website has been created to help raise funds to take Zane to the Xcell Center in Germany for stem cell treatment. We will be leaving September 24, 2010 and returning October 2, 2010. We need to raise $25,000 and are currently at $9600. Please help us if you can!!
Zane was born October 27, 2007 at 24 weeks gestation. He weighed 1 lb 4 oz at birth. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic quadriplegia when he was 15 months old. He is unable to sit unassisted, crawl, or walk. He gets everywhere he needs to go by scooting on his back. His speech is delayed but he is able to say around 20 words. He is unable to do many daily activities such as dressing himself, using utensils to eat, and brushing his teeth. This is heartbreaking for us as parents because we know that he gets frustrated. His mind knows what he needs to do but his body is unable. He is a very determined little boy and has defied the odds many times!
We have spoken to many families who have taken their children to the Xcell Center and have heard amazing stories of improvement.
We are trying to raise $25,000. This includes the cost of the procedure, travel and hotel. Please help us reach our goal!

Monday, Sept 27 at 1:30 pm: anesthesia consultation, schedule exact times for procedures.
Tuesday, Sept 28: Meet the Neurosurgeon to discuss details of treatment, pre-op tests, bone marrow collection
Wednesday, Sept 29: Neuro cell stimulation (NCS) physiotherapy
Thursday, Sept 30: Return to clinic for stem cell re-implantation via LP
Saturday: Return home :)
